Social Skills Group For 10-12 Year-old Children

FORMAT: 7 child sessions on Wednesdays
From 4-5:30pm beginning June 17th — August 12th
*no group the week of July 4th
1× 1 hour-parent group session on July 23rd 5-6pm

Social skills group for children who struggle in social situations such as effectively navigating recess, after school activities, getting along with others, receiving feedback, respectfully asserting themselves, responding to conflict or bullying, difficulties building and maintaining friendships.  

This social skills group includes evidence-based skills taught by licensed clinicians that aims to build:

  • Conversation skills (joining, starting, maintaining, ending)

  • Assertiveness skills

  • “Play” interaction skills & friendship skills

  • Problem-solving and coping skills

  • Perspective taking, accepting negative feedback and consequences

Adult/Young Adult DBT Skills Crash Course

FORMAT: 2-hour sessions weekly
Tuesdays from 2-4pm
June 16th through August 11th

FORMAT: 2-hour group weekly for adolescents for 15 weeks + 3-hour monthly parent training (Wednesdays, starting October 22 from 4-6:00pm)

FORMAT: 3-hour sessions monthly from 5:30-8:30 pm
(6/9, 7/7, 8/25)

COST: $900 per family (payment plan options available)

  • Provide healthier alternatives for handling distress

  • Improve emotion regulation

  • Improve interpersonal communication

  • Provide behavioral strategies to changing behavior patterns within the family
