Parent DBT Skills Training Program

FORMAT: 3-hour sessions monthly from 5:30-8:30pm (May 14, June 4, July 9)

COST: $900 per family (payment plan options available)

No commitment to therapy is required to participate

Do you feel as though you are struggling to respond skillfully to various dynamics in the household? Perhaps your household seems filled with dysregulation, invalidation, or conflict more often than you’d care to admit?

Parent DBT Skills Training includes evidence-based skills taught by licensed clinicians aiming to:

  • Increase awareness of self and relationships

  • Provide healthier alternatives for handling distress

  • Improve emotion regulation

  • Improve interpersonal communication

  • Provide behavioral strategies to changing behavior patterns within the family

  • Identify unhelpful thought patterns getting in the way

Young Adult DBT Skills Group

FORMAT: 2-hour sessions weekly on Thursdays, 3-5pm for 15 weeks + 3-hour monthly parent training (running June 6 – August 8 with ongoing enrollment)

Do you feel as though you are struggling to respond skillfully to all of the stressors in your life? Maybe your emotions constantly get the best of you? Perhaps your relationships are not where you want them to be?

The Young Adult DBT Skills Group includes evidence-based skills taught by licensed clinicians aiming to:

  • Provide strategies for handling life’s curveballs

  • Feel more in control of your emotions

  • Feel confident about your boundaries and communication

  • Find ways to motivate yourself when it seems impossible

  • Increase awareness of who you are and what you care about

  • Break down barriers to a life that’s worth living

Social Skills Group for 10- to 12-year-old Children

FORMAT: 8 child sessions
Tuesdays from 4:30-6pm
October 17 through December 12 except
the week of Thanksgiving
Plus one 1-hour parent group session

COST: $1200 per child

No commitment to therapy is required to participate

Social skills group for children who struggle in social situations such as effectively navigating recess, after school activities, getting along with others, receiving feedback, respectfully asserting themselves, responding to conflict or bullying, difficulties building and maintaining friendships.

This social skills group includes evidence-based skills taught by licensed clinicians that aims to build:

  • Conversation skills (joining, starting, maintaining, ending)

  • Assertiveness skills

  • “Play” interaction skills & friendship skills

  • Problem-solving and coping skills

  • Perspective taking, accepting negative feedback and consequences
