Cranial Sacral Therapy

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a gentle holding therapy designed to assist the release of the body's connective tissue and optimize the flow of cerebrospinal fluid around the brain and spinal column. It is deeply relaxing and benefits those suffering from chronic pain, headache, migraine, neck pain and side effects of cancer treatment. It is performed with the client fully clothed and lying on a heated massage table.

60 minute Cranial Sacral Session - $85

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage uses smooth volcanic rocks heated to 130 - 140 degrees to massage the body. By stimulating the peripheral nervous system, it can interrupt a pain cycle and bring much needed pain relief. And with that nervous system distraction, the therapist can work on deeper structures without pain. It will melt away all your tension and leave you feeling completely relaxed with a deep, warm glow. It is an excellent option for those suffering from chronic pain conditions. But is absolutely delightful for anyone!

60 minute Hot Stone Massage - $110
90 minute Hot Stone Massage - $135

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Dina has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in good standing for over 10 years. She spent 5 years at Massage Envy in Mequon, and another 5+ at inTouch Therapeutic Massage in Cedarburg. She has always been a highly-requested therapist, and her focus is in providing pain relief for those suffering from postural imbalances and chronic pain conditions.

  • Dina’s primary focus is always on calming the nervous system and providing pain relief. While she is very skilled at deeper tissue techniques, they are applied as gently as possible so as not to irritate already irritated tissues. If you are looking for a full body deep tissue experience, then Dina is probably not the therapist for you.

  • Dina does not have prenatal massage on her menu of services. However, she has a recommendation if you need one.

  • We have a special release form for parents to fill out for anyone under the age of 18. And during the massage, Dina prefers that a parent be in the room for anyone under the age of 14 - at least for the first few sessions until a comfort level is reached for all.

  • CST is a non-invasive, gently applied bodywork modality that relieves compression in the bones of the head, sacrum, and spinal column and is said to restore the flow of cerebro-spinal fluid around the spinal cord. It is deeply relaxing and benefits those suffering from chronic pain, headache, migraine, neck pain and side effects of cancer treatment. It is performed with the client fully clothed and lying on a heated massage table.

  • A Hot Stone massage uses volcanic stones that are heated in a water bath to between 130-140 degrees. Some stones may be placed directly on the body, along the spine, to deep heat the muscles of the spine. And others are actually held in the therapist’s hands and glided along the body during the massage. The heat from the stones penetrates, and “melts,” the fascia of the body and can even loosen scar tissue. And it’s wonderful for pain relief because it engages the peripheral nervous system - a distraction from deeper, somatic pain.

  • This is a question for Dina - she will discuss that with you after your treatment based on what she finds. But, typically, you would come a little more frequently initially if you are trying to get a pain or anxiety condition under control. Or once every 6 - 8 weeks on a maintenance schedule.
